When I painted this piece, I was exploring the meeting point between density and light. I built this painting through multiple layers of acrylic, palette knife textures, scraping, and controlled drips. The vertical flow at the center pulls the eye downward, while horizontal divisions create structure and depth. The surface shifts between matte softness and luminous highlights, allowing the light in a room to constantly reinterpret the painting.
