Golden Frameworks is an original large-scale abstract diptych from my Golden Horizons series, created in 2026. Consisting of two one-of-a-kind paintings, each measuring 140 × 100 cm, this contemporary artwork explores the relationship between architectural structure, layered texture, light, and sophisticated neutral colour.
While creating this diptych, I wanted the two canvases to speak different visual languages while remaining connected. One composition is more atmospheric and open, with vertical and horizontal movements that suggest reflections and changing light. The second is more architectural, built from overlapping geometric forms and fragmented structures. Together they create a dialogue between freedom and order, softness and precision.
I developed the paintings through multiple layers of professional acrylic paint, gradually building, scraping, covering, and revealing different areas of the surface. Palette knife work, expressive brushstrokes, glazing, textured applications, and gestural marks allow traces of previous layers to remain visible, giving the artwork depth and a sense of history.
The sophisticated palette combines warm beige, taupe, greige, stone grey, ivory white, charcoal black, deep brown, and metallic gold. Gold appears throughout the composition as an integral part of its structure. Depending on the surrounding light, these metallic areas shift from subtle earthy tones to luminous highlights, adding warmth and dimension to the textured surface.
Although entirely abstract, Golden Frameworks may evoke contemporary architecture, weathered stone, structural plans, urban fragments, reflections, and surfaces transformed by time. I intentionally leave the imagery open to interpretation, allowing each viewer to discover a personal landscape within the geometry and layers.
The two paintings are visually connected but strong enough to exist individually. Displayed together, they create an impressive large-scale statement approximately 200 × 140 cm before spacing, making the diptych particularly suitable for spacious interiors.
Golden Frameworks is designed for large living rooms, dining areas, entrance halls, executive offices, luxury residences, boutique hotels, reception spaces, and contemporary commercial interiors. Its neutral palette works beautifully with Japandi, Organic Modern, Wabi-Sabi, Minimalist, Modern Classic, Industrial, and Contemporary Luxury interiors.
For me, Golden Frameworks is about discovering the invisible structure beneath a surface — the quiet order revealed through layers of material, time, and light.
