Ochre Light Across Green Depths is a contemporary abstract painting that explores the meeting of light and depth through a rich, layered composition.

I created this work using acrylic on canvas, gradually building the surface with palette knife and expressive brushwork. Deep green tones form a grounded base, while soft beige, grey, and pale blue areas open the space and introduce a sense of air and light. Subtle ochre accents move through the composition, adding warmth and a natural glow that connects the different layers.

At the center, a horizontal structure anchors the painting, while vertical textures and fine expressive marks create movement and visual rhythm. The surface is richly textured, and as light shifts throughout the day, new nuances and tonal transitions become visible.
