I created this painting inspired by those rare moments when the sea seems to hold its breath. I wanted to capture the feeling of looking toward an endless expanse of water, where the boundary between reality and imagination begins to disappear.
Soft shades of powder blue, misty grey, silver, icy blue, and pale turquoise meet dramatic layers of midnight blue, navy, charcoal, and blue-black. Delicate white reflections and subtle warm brown accents add depth and contrast.
Using brushes and palette knives, I combined layered acrylic paint, sweeping diagonal strokes, scraping, and fine vertical drips to create atmospheric movement and subtle texture.
For me, this painting is about the beauty of distance and the peaceful mystery of the sea. Its sophisticated blue palette makes it a calming yet distinctive focal point for modern, minimalist, and coastal-inspired interiors.
