This original contemporary abstract diptych is painted on linen canvas, allowing the raw texture of the fabric to interact with layered acrylic strokes. Each canvas measures 56 × 73 cm (image size 52 × 71 cm) and together they create a powerful yet refined composition.

I created this diptych as a dialogue between density and openness. Deep charcoal and forest green tones anchor the lower part of the paintings, while soft grey, off-white, muted sage and subtle ochre unfold above. The layered acrylic technique, palette knife texture and controlled scraping reveal depth, atmosphere and light emerging from beneath darker layers.

The two panels mirror each other without repeating. One carries more dramatic contrast and saturated depth; the other breathes with lighter transitions and airy movement. When placed together, they create a continuous visual flow that expands the space around them.

For me, this work represents a moment when land and sky dissolve into pure sensation — structure softened by light, strength tempered by openness. It is designed for collectors who appreciate contemporary abstract art with emotional depth and understated luxury presence.

The artwork is signed, dated and titled on the reverse and ships in a tube.
