This painting began with a glow—soft, diffused light expanding across the surface and gradually shaping the entire composition.

I started from the center, allowing the light tones to open the space. Layers of white and pale beige create an airy, luminous field, while cooler blue tones and deeper charcoal elements bring contrast and direction. Warm ochre accents appeared naturally, adding a quiet warmth that gently balances the cooler palette.

I worked intuitively, using both brush and palette knife to build the surface. Some areas are layered and textured, while others are softened and almost dissolved. This interplay creates a sense of depth that shifts with the light and changes throughout the day.

What draws me most to this piece is its openness. It feels like a space unfolding—where forms are not fixed, but emerging and fading at the same time. The darker passages give the composition a sense of grounding, while the lighter areas allow it to breathe.

The palette—blue, white, beige, grey, charcoal, and ochre—creates a calm and refined atmosphere. It integrates beautifully into modern interiors, adding light, depth, and a subtle emotional presence.

At 120 × 90 cm, the painting has a strong yet elegant scale. It becomes a focal point while remaining soft and inviting, shaping the atmosphere of the space without overwhelming it.

This work is created to evolve with its surroundings—to respond to light, to shift over time, and to reveal new layers with every glance.
