Blue Purple Abstract Seascape Painting on Linen Canvas
I created this painting as a moment of energy and transformation — when light pushes through layers of color and reshapes the entire space.
Working with acrylic on linen canvas, I built the composition gradually using palette knife and expressive brushwork. Cool tones of blue and grey create depth and openness, forming an airy upper space, while textured white areas introduce movement and brightness.
On one side, deep purple tones bring contrast and emotional intensity, grounding the composition and adding visual weight. Across the surface, subtle gold accents catch the light, creating a soft luminous effect that changes depending on the viewing angle.
A horizontal structure holds the composition together, while splashes, drips, and layered textures create rhythm and direction. The surface is rich and tactile, revealing new tonal nuances as the light shifts throughout the day.
