Golden Break of Dawn

This painting began with light—a soft, expanding glow that gradually shaped the entire composition.

I started from the center, allowing the luminous area to open the space. Layers of white and warm beige create an airy field, while cooler blue tones and deeper charcoal passages bring contrast and direction. Gentle touches of soft pink emerge within the surface, adding warmth and a sense of calm transition.

Subtle accents of gold appear across the composition, catching the light and adding a delicate radiance. These details are not immediate—they reveal themselves slowly, depending on how the light moves across the painting throughout the day.

I worked intuitively, using both brush and palette knife to build and reshape the surface. Some areas remain smooth and diffused, while others carry texture—paint layered, broken, and revealed again. This creates depth and movement that continues to shift over time.

What draws me most to this work is its sense of expansion. It feels like a moment where light opens the space and transforms it—where darker elements give grounding, and lighter tones create a feeling of air and openness.

The palette—blue, white, beige, soft pink, charcoal, and gold—creates a refined and balanced atmosphere. It integrates beautifully into modern interiors, bringing light, depth, and a quiet elegance into the space.

With its panoramic format (120 × 70 cm), the painting visually expands the wall and works beautifully above a sofa or in a living space, becoming a focal point while maintaining a soft presence.

This work is created to evolve with its surroundings—to respond to light, to shift throughout the day, and to reveal new nuances over time.

I do not begin with a fixed composition. Each layer develops in response to the previous one, allowing the painting to emerge naturally. This creates a sense of flow and makes every work unique.
