Measured Stillness is a reflection on balance — not the obvious kind, but the one that forms quietly through time, layers, and restraint.

I created this abstract acrylic painting by building and removing paint in multiple stages, allowing the composition to emerge gradually. Soft beige, warm sand, muted blue, deep graphite, and off-white tones interact through horizontal and vertical structures, creating a calm yet expressive rhythm across the canvas. Some areas are intentionally softened, while others reveal raw texture, subtle drips, and scraped layers that expose the process beneath the surface.

The contrast between cool blue-grey passages and warmer earthy tones gives the painting depth and emotional weight without being overpowering. Linear accents guide the eye, offering a sense of order while preserving organic movement. The surface invites close viewing — each layer tells part of the story.

This artwork is designed for contemporary, minimalist, and modern interiors where atmosphere matters more than noise. It brings a feeling of clarity, grounded elegance, and visual breathing space into a room — whether placed above a sofa, in a living area, or within a refined workspace.

Measured Stillness is a one-of-a-kind original painting, entirely hand-painted. It is signed and will be shipped rolled in a protective tube for safe international delivery. The canvas can be easily stretched or framed upon arrival.

The artwork is signed, dated and titled on the reverse and ships in a tube. This method is particularly safe for oversized works and ensures lower transport costs. Rolled works may be easily stretched upon arrival (placed on wooden stretchers for canvases) and/or framed by a local framer.
