This diptych was born from my desire to capture a feeling of openness—where space feels endless, and colors flow into each other without clear boundaries.
I worked in layered acrylic, building the surface gradually with both brush and palette knife. Soft greys, muted sage green, deep forest tones, and warm touches of ochre come together with off-white and subtle charcoal accents. These tones feel natural and grounded, like fragments of landscape remembered rather than seen.
While painting, I focused on movement and light—how forms dissolve, reappear, and shift depending on the angle and the time of day. The textures respond beautifully to natural light, revealing depth and delicate transitions that make the artwork feel alive within a space.
This diptych is designed to bring calm, depth, and a refined natural presence into an interior. It works beautifully in modern, minimalist, or earthy spaces—especially above a console, sofa, or bed.
Each painting can exist on its own, but together they create a continuous visual story—like two connected moments unfolding across a wider space.
