I created this painting as a reflection of soft light unfolding across open water — a composition where atmosphere, texture, and space merge into a calm emotional landscape.

Working with acrylic on canvas, I developed the surface through multiple layered applications using palette knife and expressive brushwork. Shades of pale blue, lavender, ivory, white, charcoal, black, soft beige, and warm ochre create luminous contrast and depth while preserving an airy contemporary atmosphere.

The composition is built around reflective open space where light appears to dissolve into layered textures and subtle movement. Darker passages create grounding and visual depth, while soft silver-blue and lavender tones introduce openness and atmospheric flow across the surface.
