Measuring 100 × 100 cm, this one-of-a-kind acrylic artwork explores the quiet dialogue between the sea, sky, and changing light through layered textures and a harmonious contemporary palette.
Inspired by peaceful coastlines and distant horizons, I wanted to capture the feeling of standing where water and sky merge into a single endless space. Rather than painting a literal seascape, I focused on the emotions created by reflection, movement, and light. Every layer became a way to express calm, openness, and balance.
The painting was created using professional acrylic paints, palette knives, brushes, glazing, scraping, dry-brush techniques, and expressive layered textures. The richly textured surface interacts beautifully with natural light, revealing subtle depth and tonal variations throughout the day.
The refined palette combines deep navy blue, ocean blue, soft turquoise, warm beige, sand, ivory, stone grey, charcoal, white, and delicate metallic gold accents, creating a sophisticated contemporary aesthetic. The composition evokes tranquil waters, distant coastlines, expansive skies, and quiet reflections while remaining intentionally abstract and open to personal interpretation.
