I created this painting as a reflection of openness and distance — a moment where light stretches across water-like space and dissolves into atmosphere.
Working with acrylic on canvas, I layered the composition using palette knife and expressive brushwork, allowing texture and movement to develop naturally. Shades of soft blue, silver-grey, white, warm beige, and deep earthy tones create a sense of depth and calmness, while delicate ochre accents introduce warmth and subtle luminosity.
The composition is intentionally atmospheric rather than literal. Reflective passages suggest water and sky, while textured layers, expressive marks, and subtle drips create rhythm and movement across the surface.
