Tidal Crossroads is a large contemporary abstract painting from my Oceanic Geometry series, inspired by the meeting point of water, light, structure, and movement. Created in 2026, this original artwork explores the hidden geometry that exists within coastal landscapes and the powerful connections between natural forces.

While creating this painting, I imagined invisible currents crossing beneath the surface of the sea. These unseen pathways connect distant shores, changing skies, and endless reflections. Through texture, contrast, and layered color, I sought to capture that moment where different energies converge into a single visual experience.

The composition is built with multiple layers of acrylic paint applied using palette knives, brushes, scraping techniques, and expressive gestural marks. Soft ocean blue, mist gray, ivory white, charcoal black, deep brown, and warm ochre tones interact throughout the surface, creating depth, movement, and visual rhythm. The central intersection of forms acts as a focal point, while the surrounding layers suggest openness, reflection, and continuous flow.

Rich textures catch and reflect natural light throughout the day, revealing subtle details, tonal variations, and painterly gestures that continuously transform the artwork. From a distance, the composition feels architectural and balanced. Up close, it reveals an intricate landscape of textures and layered marks that invite closer exploration.

The sophisticated palette makes Tidal Crossroads particularly suitable for contemporary interiors, coastal homes, luxury residences, waterfront properties, yacht interiors, designer offices, boutique hotels, and modern architectural spaces.
